I'd be careful with this place On sunday my wife had a car run her off the road causing her to hit a curb and mess up our suspension so we took our car in as allstate wanted them to look at it and write the quote I had a trusted local shop already diagnose the damage it's a bent strut in the front and a bent control arm in the rear I explained to them not once but three times the exact issue but they hire people who know nothing about car suspension and it shows then they act like they know everything it's almost hilarious... But anyways they don't actually put the car on a lift they left it in the parking lot took pictures and then proceeded after being shown the damage and told multiple times to quote a lower passenger front control arm and that's it ready for the best part almost $600 for the part labor and alignment almost $400 just for one control arm considering from Ford they run around $140 is outrageous then I got a separate quote for a cracked bumper and dented hatch $200 shy of $6,000 no way in hell would it cost that took it to another shop and got quoted $2600 for all work including repaint.... But then in this whole process I'm told just for the control arm that's no

The JC Gerber folks did a fabulous job quickly evaluating the damage to my vehicle, offering me a range of clear, priced-out options, and taking care of the repairs faster than I expected! They also handled a total from an accident [not my fault lol] a few years ago. Friendly and communicative staff!

The first time I've ever been to this place to get my car fixed it was great. Now this is my second time going there and they still did a great job. Even though there were ups and downs with anything that life that the insurance was throwing at me not understanding my situation the staff at the shop were there for me. I got the chance to talk to the detailer he was great. The insurance company wanted me to put a new claim for the mirror holder which would be another 250 dollars when I told them what happened to the mirror holder. When the auto shop found out, the manger understood my situation and we made a deal. A deal I could not pass up. I ended up saving 200 dollars because of this shop. If the shop broke it they made it right. I was a very happy customer at the end of the day. Thank you gerber collision and glass for making my life easy.

UPDATE: The shop contacted me about rectifying the situation….. The general manager called and apologized and said he felt they could do better. He offered a couple of dates for a drop off and even covered a rental vehicle for inconvenience. All employees I spoke with were very helpful and polite. All of the issues I originally called out have been resolved and I’m very happy with the outcome. Thank you to the team at Gerber for ensuring my Suburban was repaired to my satisfaction and for covering the cost for use of a rental vehicle while mine was in the shop. I appreciate you and the work/time it took to get my Suburban looking great again! —— Dropped off 3/25/24 and picked up 4/2/24. Absolute worst shop I’ve ever been to. The workmanship is horrible and the general manager is very rude and completely obstinate. They should be quite embarrassed to have said the work was complete. They did no prepping of the bumper prior to painting. The paint color of the bumper doesn’t match body at all. The wheel well cover doesn’t fit properly and with the gaping hole they left contaminates can get up into the body and cause premature body rot/rust. There is misalignment of the air detector
